Simple enough. This is something some have known for some time, but it's important that healthcare choices you make be based on real evidence, rather than simply on anecdotes. A study conducted at a Bangladeshi medical college reviewing the records of 500 patients suffering from migraine and/or tension headaches showed that the most effective pain-reducing treatments were massage and analgesics.
For other conclusions of the study, see the article from Massage magazine here.
One week from today, on October 20th 2012, Warrior Massage therapist and owner Jesse Jones, LMP will be participating in a charity fundraiser event called Extra Life. Jesse will be playing video games for an epic (and probably unhealthy) 24 hours without stopping, in order to earn YOUR donations to Seattle Children's Hospital (through the Children's Miracle Network).
How does this relate to massage? Any individual who donates $60 or more via Jesse's personal fundraiser page (link text below for you to copy & paste into your address bar) will receive a coupon for a free 60-minute massage. Those who donated prior to this announcement included.
What is there to lose? Make a tax-deductible donation to charity, help Jesse meet his fundraising goal, and get a free massage. You win, Jesse wins, and the children win.
